Happy New Year Ladies and Gentlemen, to start off the new year we are going to countdown the most anticipated TV Shows of 2019. So here is what you can look forward too in this year! Here we are going to recap the events of some shows and talk about what the new season might bring, Enjoy! Spoilers below!
5: Gotham: Legend of the Dark Knight
After five years Gotham is finally coming to an end. The legendary story of Detective James Gordon and how he helped Bruce Wayne become the Dark Knight Gotham needs is closing up. Bruce Wayne began to accept his destiny at the end of season 4 after Ra's Al Ghul blew up the bridges leading out of Gotham and making it a No Mans Land. With only a handful of GCPD officers remaining, Bruce Wayne staying to help and the villains you all know and love running Gotham City, it really is a land of crazies! This is going to be one hell of a season!
4: Stranger Things Season 3
Stranger Things is one of Netflix's greatest shows in all of our opinions. The fantasy show about demons and and a demonic place called the upside down is coming back for a third season. Season 2 ended with a shot of Hawkins Middle School in the upside down and the monsters looming over it. This had us asking a lot more questions. Hopefully we get those answers in season 3 which will be released this summer!
We all loved the Zack Snyder cut of the Watchmen, ranging from the characters to the plot. Set in an alternate universe, where superheroes are a normal thing. HBO are reviving the characters into a brand new TV show. Who else is excited to see Rorschach back on the screens?! I am. So are you ready to watch the Watchmen?
2: The Punisher Season 2
With Marvels Netflix shows getting cancelled, they aren't going down without a bang. The Punisher is returning to our screens on January 18th to wrap up Frank Castles story. With a hint of Jigsaw at the end of season one we can pretty much tell he is the main villain in season 2. So, Frank Castle is being pulled into the world of anti-heroes again. I can't wait!
1: Game of Thrones Final Season
This is the one we have all been waiting for. Now the wait is almost over. Are you ready to see who will take over the Iron Throne and rule Westeros? Season 7 ended with us learning the truth about Jon Snows heritage, the death of Little Finger and Danearys and Jon getting it on in a boat. The Final season of this great show will answer a lot of questions and just maybe bring a few characters back from the dead (here's hoping its Ned Stark). We will witness the long awaited battle between Jon and the Night King, the Clegane Bowl, and the longest battle ever filmed in the history of Game Of Thrones. The final season will be aired on the 14th of April 2019.
